Conoce un poco más de Montaigne

Montaigne es el nombre artístico para la cantante Jessica Alyssa Cerro, nacida el 14 de agosto de 1995 en la ciudad australiana de Sidney. Tiene en su haber ya dos álbumes de estudio lanzados, “Glorious Heights” (2016) y “Complex” (2019) ambos bajo el sello conjunto de Sony Music y Wonderlick Entertainment. “Glorious Heights” lograría la 4ta posición en la lista de álbumes de ARIA (principal lista de venta de Australia), logrando así mismo 4 nominaciones en los ARIA Music Awards 2016, ganando la categoría de Artista Innovadora.

Adoptó el nombre Montaigne en 2013 bajo inspiración del filósofo del siglo XVI Michel de Montaigne. Entre 2014 y 2015 lanzaría varios sencillos y participaría en diferentes canciones como artista invitada, hasta el lanzamiento de su exitoso primer álbum. Su segundo disco “Complex” debutó en agosto de 2019 en puesto 19 del la lista de ARIA y de este álbum a la fecha ha sido lanzados tres sencillos.
